It may be helpful to open another window so that you can keep this window open for instructions.
Badgework
- To view Current Completed badges, not yet Awarded:
- In the blue menu bar, click on Achieve > Badge Book
- Select Complete, Not Awarded, and enter a date range to limit results (optional)
- Hit the Search button
- To view Current Incomplete badges:
- In the blue menu bar, click on Achieve > Badge Book
- Select Incomplete
- All incomplete badges should be for the current rank.
- If any Incomplete badges are from a previous rank and you want to delete them, see instructions below
- To Update an Incomplete badge:
- In the black menu bar, click on Your Name > Your Dashboard
- Click on Profile next to your daughter's name
- Click on the Achievements tab
- In the Name column, find the badge you want to update
- Click on the Pen & Pencil icon to the right of that badge
- Scroll through the window to find the requirements you want to update, and enter the dates the requirements were completed
- Hit the Save button
- To Add a New Badge:
- In the black menu bar, click on Your Name > Your Dashboard
- Click on Profile next to your daughter's name
- Click on the Achievements tab
- Click the Start Achievement button
- Wait about 15 seconds for a window to pop up
- Select the badges and awards you want to add
- Hit the Save button
- Note: Frontier Badges will show up in the tab for the applicable rank. Other awards may appear in the Other tab
- To Delete a Badge:
- In the black menu bar, click on Your Name > Your Dashboard
- Click on Profile next to your daughter's name
- Click on the Achievements tab
- In the Name column, find the badge you want to delete
- Click the red and white X to the right of that badge
- A pop up window will ask Are you sure? Click OK
Meetings:
- To View the Troop Calendar:
- In the blue menu bar, click on Plan > Calendar
- To go to a different month, select the year and month from the drop boxes in the top row
- To go to the previous month or the next month, click on the links to the left and right of the year and month drop boxes
- To view all Troop events, click on the little "world" icon next to the name of the month
- **BUG ALERT** Not all events that you have been invited to may show up on your "Family Member" calendar (small icon showing a group of 3 people) or "My Events" calendar (small icon showing 1 person). To make sure you see all the troop events, select the "All Events" calendar icon (small icon of a world).
- To RSVP to a meeting or event:
- From the Calendar, click on the name of the meeting or event
- **BUG ALERT** Not all events that you have been invited to may show up on your "Family Member" calendar (small icon showing a group of 3 people) or "My Events" calendar (small icon showing 1 person). To make sure you see all the troop events, select the "All Events" calendar icon (small icon of a world).
- In the pop up window, click on Details & RSVP
- In the RSVP section of the page, click on the Change button to update the RSVP status of each invited family member
- Hit the Save button
Service Hours:
- To View Service Hours for Current Rank:
- In the black menu bar, click on Your Name > Your Dashboard
- Click on Profile next to your daughter's name
- Click on the Participation & Service tab
- You will see a list of all troop events, and your daughter's attendance
- Enter a date range in the top right, and hit the Search button
- **BUG ALERT** Entering a date range will eliminate any non-troop events from your list of results. If your daughter has participated in any service projects outside of AHG, they will not be included in these results.
- Click on the Filter button to select "Service Projects" to see a list of all service projects (troop events) that your daughter has participated in during her time in AHG
- **BUG WORKAROUND** In the blue menu bar, go to Plan > Participation Book, enter a date range, and hit CSV. This will export a CSV file that you can open in Excel and filter the results there to determine the number of service hours earned for a given rank.
- To View Total Service Hours:
- In the black menu bar, click on Your Name > Your Dashboard
- Click on Profile next to your daughter's name
- Click on the Participation & Service tab
- In the top right corner (just below the gray bar) you will see "Service Hours:" That's the total numer of service hours that have been entered into TroopTrack for your daughter's entire AHG career
- To see a list of Service Projects, click on the Filter button and check the box for "Service Project"
- The display will automatically be updated to show the list of service projects that have been entered into TroopTrack for your daughter's entire AHG career
- To Add Service Hours:
- In the black menu bar, click on Your Name > Your Dashboard
- Click on Profile next to your daughter's name
- Click on the Participation & Service tab
- On the right, click on the Add Service Hours button
- Enter details in the pop up window, including Event Type = Service Project
- Hit the Save button
Camping:
- To View Camping Nights for Current Rank:
- In the blue menu bar, go to Plan > Participation Book
- In the gray bar that says PARTICIPATION BOOK, select "All Events" to the far right
- Choose "Tent Nights" or "Cabin Nights" to see a list of those events
- **BUG ALERT** You cannot search for Tent + Cabin camping nights in one search. You have to search for them separately and then add them together yourself.
- Filter these results by entering a date range
- To View Total Camping Nights:
- In the blue menu bar, go to Plan > Participation Book
- In the gray bar that says PARTICIPATION BOOK, select "All Events" to the far right
- Choose "Tent Nights" or "Cabin Nights" to see a list of those events
- **BUG ALERT** You cannot search for Tent + Cabin camping nights in one search. You have to search for them separately and then add them together yourself
- This will display all camping nights in your daughter's AHG career
- To Add Camping Nights:
- In the black menu bar, click on Your Name > Your Dashboard
- Click on Profile next to your daughter's name
- Click on the Participation & Service tab
- On the right, click on the Add Service Hours button
- Note: This is the same button you use for adding Service Hours.
- Enter details in the pop up window, including Event Type = Campout
- **BUG ALERT** The camping nights you add this way will be designated Tent camping nights. If you cabin camp at a non-troop event, you will not be able to enter those nights into TroopTrack accurately. You would have to enter it as a troop activity. Please get permission from someone(?) before entering a personal activity to the troop calendar.
